Sheet Rock Flood Cut after a Storm Event

SERVPRO of Lake Charles services all of Southwest Louisiana, especially when we are impacted by a catastrophic storm event like a hurricane or flood. In the example a whole neighborhood was affected by rising flood water. We serviced many homes and businesses in this area by removing damaged building materials like sheet rock.

Obviously we must wait until the water recedes before we can remove the sheet rock. Once the water recedes we remove the dry wall in large sections, preferably in sections dividable by 2 feet. This is because a stand new sheet is 4x8 and they can be easily cut to repair the missing section.s
