Water damage from a wind storm

High winds can cause significant damage to a home. It the case of this house high winds blew many shingles from the roof, causing rain water the penetrate the decking and ultimately saturate the attic insulation and create discoloration on the ceiling. SERVPRO of Lake Charles was able to save the ceiling by responding quickly. We removed the wet insulation and began drying immediately. Over the course of three days we were able to achieve a level of drying and meet our goals. The customer was very happy that we did not need to tear out the ceiling and with a fresh coat of paint it looked good as new.
