Fire damage in a boat garage

When a oily boat motor caught fire last January it was quickly extinguished but the soot residue darken the surfaces in every corner. SERVPRO of Lake Charles responded and began testing which methods would work best to get the fire damaged surfaces clean. After a couple of test wipes we finally settled on a solvent that efectivley broke down the discoloration and allowed it to be wiped off. Even though this was an outdoors facility it didn't minimize the effort we expended in restoring the building to preloss condition. Ultimately, the customer was pleased with results and happy with our customer service.
