Flood damage after a Lake Charles flood

Once the flood water receded, SERVPRO of Lake Charles responded to this lake front home. Water was still present, saturating most of the floors, cabinets, walls and furniture. Our first task was to perform water extraction and removal. Once that stage was complete we did some demolition and set up drying equipment. We were able to mitigate the water damage in time before secondary damage like mold was able to grow. The customer was very happy with the services provided and spoke to her nieghbors who were also affected by the storm event. We got to help several other houses in the community. It was a great feeling!
