Wind damaged roof water mitigation

When high winds blew a tree onto the roof of this Lake Charles house the resulting damage was water intrusion into their home. Our first goal was to get the roof secure using a tarp. This prevented further water from entering the home. After that we begin scoping the extent of the damage. The obvious first goal was to extract any standing water. Once that was done we removed wet insulation from the attic and started placing drying equipment. Utilizing our monitoring equipment we were able to dry their house out over the course of several days. The customer was happy with the results.
